Dr. Vijay Mhetar

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Vijay Mhetar is the Founder, President, and CEO of Notark Corporation. With over 25 years of experience in material-intensive industries, he has led the development of industry-first technologies generating over $1 billion in sales. Prior to founding Notark, Dr. Mhetar served as Chief Technology Officer at Kraton Corporation and held leadership roles at General Cable and GE Plastics. He holds more than 85 patents, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Technology from IIT Bombay. Dr. Mhetar also serves on the Industry Advisory Committee for Texas A&M’s Chemical Engineering Department and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Dr Jason Tian

Head of Dielectric Materials Platform

Dr. Jason Tian is a polymer scientist and chemical engineer with extensive experience in developing and commercializing advanced polymer technologies for global markets. Throughout his career, including roles at leading chemical and energy companies, he has successfully brought multiple material technologies from concept to full-scale production. At Notark, Dr. Tian leads the dielectric materials platform, focusing on the development of engineered solutions for next-generation applications such as copper-clad laminates (CCL), resin-coated copper (RCC), and integrated circuit (IC) packaging. His work supports advancements in high-speed, high-frequency (HSHF) and high-density (HD) electronics, integral to the evolution of 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced computing technologies.

Roger Tocchetto

Head of Ion Conducting Polymers Platform

Roger Tocchetto is a seasoned materials scientist with over two decades of experience in polymer chemistry and engineering. His career includes significant contributions at companies such as Kraton, General Cable (now part of Prysmian Group), Daikin, and Georgia Gulf (now Westlake). Mr. Tocchetto has led global teams in developing and commercializing advanced polymer solutions, resulting in numerous successful product launches. He holds over 18 patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation in the field. At Notark, he heads the ion-conducting polymers platform, focusing on creating high-performance, cost-effective materials that drive advancements in clean energy technologies, including green hydrogen production, energy storage systems, water treatment, and electrochemical processes.

Dr Tukaram Gunale

Operations Leader

Dr. Tukaram Gunale brings over 20 years of experience in chemical engineering, specializing in process development, scale-up, and industrial innovation. At Notark, he oversees the transition of breakthrough chemistries from laboratory research to full-scale global production. Prior to joining Notark, Dr. Gunale dedicated nearly 11 years to GE/SABIC, where he led significant projects, including the comprehensive upgrade of a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) plant, encompassing laboratory testing, pilot-scale trials, and full-scale operations. His expertise extends to the development of advanced, sustainable technologies for polymer and monomer production, with a focus on utilizing recycled materials. Dr. Gunale is proficient in Six Sigma methodologies, enhancing process efficiency and reliability. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.
